This peasant dress has soft shirred gathers around the empire waist, neck and sleeves. The front of the neckline is scooped to give a much more flattering fit than most peasant type dress patterns.

Also included with the pattern is options for 3 different sleeve styles. Long, three quarter or short puff sleeves.

Sneak Peek - "Sew Twirly" - New PDF Sewing Pattern

Just a quick sampling of photos of the new "Sew Twirly" tiered peasant dress pattern coming soon. I will have the pattern ready soon after I finish a short sleeve all over print dress and a long sleeve multi print version.

The pictures were taken at Campbell’s Covered Bridge. Constructed in 1909 it is the only remaining covered bridge in the State of South Carolina.

I have altered a few things on the dress since this first photo shoot. I added some shirring to the waist and adjusted the tier gathers and bodice length. I had planned the photo shoot and just went ahead and took test pictures although I was not completely satisfied with the dress.

Last picture is the tail of  a new tiered skirt pattern designed to save on fabric yardage. Use all your scraps to create a unique skirt.

Anna, my newest model did such a great job on her first photo shoot also.

Super easy to make PDF skirt pattern in sizes 3/4 – 13/14 junior/misses . Simple lines yet very stylish. Only 3 pattern pieces. Slenderizing arched or pointed front band which cleverly joins an elastic back for comfort and great fit.

Great back to school, church or date skirt. Most sizes only take 1 yard of 45" material.

This design stems from a pattern that I used many , many years ago . How many years? I have been sewing for 50+ years. I remember making myself skirts and shorts similar to this waist design when I was just in elementary school.

Also included with this pattern is the original Ribbon Flower PDF Pattern with new flower designs added. The flower pins add a touch of dress up to the skirts . Take them off for a more casual look.
