Sneak Peek - "Sew Twirly" - New PDF Sewing Pattern

Just a quick sampling of photos of the new "Sew Twirly" tiered peasant dress pattern coming soon. I will have the pattern ready soon after I finish a short sleeve all over print dress and a long sleeve multi print version.

The pictures were taken at Campbell’s Covered Bridge. Constructed in 1909 it is the only remaining covered bridge in the State of South Carolina.

I have altered a few things on the dress since this first photo shoot. I added some shirring to the waist and adjusted the tier gathers and bodice length. I had planned the photo shoot and just went ahead and took test pictures although I was not completely satisfied with the dress.

Last picture is the tail of  a new tiered skirt pattern designed to save on fabric yardage. Use all your scraps to create a unique skirt.

Anna, my newest model did such a great job on her first photo shoot also.

  1. Hi,
Thank you for visiting and following my blog, I am so happy to meet you! I used to design children's clothing too, we have a lot in common. I am focusing now on my quilting and dollmaking and flower making, and really enjoy it! After the holidays I am going to try to get my patterns into pdf form and see how it goes, I hope mine turn out as well as yours! You do a wonderful job and I wish you continued success. Any advice you want to send on the pdf thing please feel free!
Again, so nice to meet you!
    Hugs,
    Julie
